Cheesy Boneless Pork Chops in the Oven

- 1 pound pork chops boneless thin cut (6-7 pork chops)
- ½ medium yellow onion thinly sliced
- ½ cup mayonnaise or more as needed
- 6-8 oz Extra sharp cheddar cheese grated
- salt/pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Using a meat tenderizer, lightly pound the meat on both sides.
Place meat on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Season meat with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, mix thinly sliced onions with mayo and then spread the mayonnaise over the pork chops and top with shredded cheese.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until cheese is bubbly on top and meat is cooked through (should temp to 145 F). Optionally, you can broil the pork chops for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is browned and bubbly.
Let the pork chops rest for 3 minutes after removing them from the oven. Then serve and enjoy!
